Communicating With Owner

I’m going to feel really stupid if I find out there’s a way to communicate with your owner.

From a few posts on here, I’ve picked up that you can ask for more payroll or “talk” to your owner. I have never figured this out and just assumed I picked up on undertones incorrectly.

So I ask - can you somehow communicate with your owner and I just am somehow missing it?

if you listen to your owner and accomplish his goals he'll reward you with a bigger budget. That's how you "talk" to him. He'll constantly talk to you though but you can only respond with your actions (or lack thereof).

It is almost like my computer or the game are listening to me. lol For the first time ever tonight seven seasons into my game, my owner randomly gave me an extra $15 million halfway through spring training. This has never happened before but he just randomly emailed me to let me know I was getting more money. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a once-in-a-lifetime type thing or will it happen from time to time?

Maybe OOTP31 will have a fully AI owner that you can send emails to. AI has so much potential in the video game world. At least in that brief window between when we develop true AI and the AI just takes over the world.

Ummmm, literally the first response answered the question. "He'll constantly talk to you though but you can only respond with your actions (or lack thereof)."
