Question regarding the ordering of players on HTML outputs....

2B, 3B, 2B, SS, 1B, 3B

That's the order that my players are listed on my team page on the Maelstrom HTML page. What's the normal way players are listed now? This affects both outfield and infield.

Back in OOTP4 and OOTP3, on the HTML pages, the players were ordered by the position they played. So in the infield, it was 1B, 2B, 3B, and SS. In the outfield, it was LF, CF, RF. This made it much easier for a GM to go to each team's pages and look for players at a certain position, insted of having to "search" for them now.

I've experienced the weird ordering in both the Maelstrom and the iMLB. So is there an explanation of why they're ordered differently now, and how exactly they're ordered?

Edit: Also, pitchers. I remember in past versions, the SP were ordered by what the AI thought was the best pitcher, then the second best, third best, and so on. For relievers, it was the closers first, then relievers. Both are mixed up as well now.

I believe it is 1B, 2B, 3B, SS (starters), then the subs in no particular order. LF, CF, RF (starters), then the subs in no particular order. Starters in order and the first reliever is the closer. Check to see if that is accurate.

Not accurate at all Treches. I've got my backup 2b listed, then my starting ss and 3b, then my back up 1b, then my 1b, then my starting 2b and utility IF. I think it's random.

Yeah, I think it is random, which is unfortunate. It was so easy to find a player at a certain position by looking at each team's page.

Steve, Markus, Scott, or anyone else have a comment on this?
