UFC also. Gov DeSantis has ruled they're essential businesses because they help the economy. If that's the logic then everything can be open.

About 30 years ago a political party had the opportunity to eliminate the competition. By the time the votes saw what was happening and got a constitutional amendment for fair districts the damage was done.

Without competition that challenges its ideas and policies, the ruling party can't learn how to campaign, create policy, and govern. Power is handed to it without any challenge. So FL government has become incompetent. For further proof, look to the politicians successful in FL who are complete failures when they try to go national.

This is not a party specific thing and this post is not political. Incompetence and/or corruption follows any one party dominance. Consider long time events in Chicago.

While DeSantis talks economics, how much outside money does this bring into FL? Venue rental is about it. How much of their money do participants spend in FL?

Looks also as if FL is positioning itself to make a bid for 2020 MBL being played in FL. And also, DeSantis is now the leader in reopening the economy. That will sell in DC.

There was another story I saw that said that both Fox and USA require WWE to put on a certain number of Live shows as part of their TV deals with both networks. This looks like a WWE official (VKM) left an unmarked duffel bag filled with paper blocks on the porch of the Governor to deem them "essential" and they can go back to recording their shows and upcoming PPV at the Performance Center so those terms in those contracts are met. Maybe I watched too many movies and TV Shows.....but it sure looks like it.

While I am all for distractions on the TV, this seems very irresponsible.

Vince's XFL went bankrupt & his main $ maker can't go on the road. The man is desperate right now. I would suspect few 1 percenters have been bruised as bad as McMahon has.
