Independent League To Minor League?

I may have done something that doesn't work, but was wondering anyway.

I have two independent leagues that have been running for 10+ years alongside my major league in a fictional universe. I wanted to turn those indy leagues into minor leagues with each team being an affiliate of one of the big league clubs. So I just changed the leagues to AAA leagues and affiliated each club. However, I go to pre-season and notice that those minor leagues still have player salaries and other financials despite the fact that it says "Minor Leagues Do Not Support Financials". Any help?

Can you try and recalculate salaries for that league and see what happens? Proceed at your own risk!

Try turning the league back to an independent league, turn off the financials, then turn it back to a minor league and then assign the teams.
