Schedule Length

If I reduce the length of the season from 162 games to 82 will that make it like the NBA schedule where you play one team one day and a new team a day or two later or do i have to reduce the series length so I don't play the same team back to back

If you're relying on the in-game scheduler, it will not give you the schedule you want, although I'm not sure what would happen if you change the series length to one game. If you have an MLB set-up, then your best bet would be to use this schedule, which should fit your needs.
