scouting directing

how do i get the scouting director to stop sending me messages before every 3 game series? i feel like the manager needs that info not me as a GM.

There is definitely a checkbox somewhere that says "send me scouting reports on upcoming opponents". Can't say I recall exactly where, but it does exist! Probably somewhere in the scouting tab under front office?
