Bringing World Data from Prior games
Been out of the OOTP game for a bit(playing on OOTP 16) and the stadium builder looked amazing to me.
Is it possible to export the world data and quicksaves from OOTP16 to OOTP 21? Would love to get my Pokemon league going with custom stadiums. Thanks guys and gals

I would love to know from OOTP20. Normally, you install the new game, navigate to your saved games folder and it finds the world.dat file and it imports it.
So far, I cannot find that file. |

To import from 16 is easy you just need to import into 17, then 18, then 19 and so on.
As to finding the saved game folder. Game files are stored in the data/saved_games directory, and each saved game is contained in a separate directory, ending in a .lg extension. For example, if your game is called MyGame, then there will be a directory called data/saved_games/MyGame.lg. This is generally in 2 locations, if you did the default install it'll likely be in your documents folder. If you did a custom install location it could also be in your documents folder OR it's in the install folder |
