Also how well does OOTP take advantage of multiple cores? My 3700X would love to have more to do.

The fact you are seeing OOTP using 4 GB of RAM indicates it is using 64 bit memory addressing. 32 bit was limited to 2.1 GB.

Support for, and use of, multiple cores was implemented several versions ago.

32bit systems can actually use about 3 or a little more with some large address tricks.

And yes, we do have multicore support. Not everything can be threaded but you will definitely see a bonus from it.

That is great! Just bought my first straight up gaming rig and ready to put it to work doing some serious OOTPing!
