I've never seen a player say they don't want to be in the minors and have their contract demand be a minor league deal at the same time. I couldn't sign this guy, he kept refusing to be a minor league player even though that was his demand.

He ended up signing (guess what) a minor league deal with the Cubs.

This has happened in my game as well. I just figure the guy really doesn't want to sign with my organization and move on.

I tend to offer a small bonus ($11K-$12K in modern financials) to get around that bug.
