The Computer Generated a Player Named After Me
Douglas McAteer is a utility infielder for Denver in my fictional league. My name is Dan McAteer, I found this very interesting. Anyone have any McAteer's in there leagues?

I always get excited when I see my name in the game, of course it happens all the time...
Ritch King (spelled wrong but) I have seen Rick's, Richard's, Rich's, Richie's, Ricky's, Dick's and pretty much every other variation of my name in there, but with a boring last name like that... I have actually gone through the name file and found names of friends that I thought no one else would ever have, Weirdest thing I have ever seen though... I used to write under the pen name Michael Anthony. The BPLA when it generated its players, generated a Michael Anthony. No big deal I thought, common name. Birthdate, 3/20/1976, exact same as mine. I thought that was way too weird, so I almost deleted him, but left him there quietly.

I've seen one player with my last name, Pendergraft, that was really cool. I've seen a few variations on my last name but only with my first OOTP5 league did I actually see a Pendergraft.
