follower???

AI wants my 5th starter to be a follower, but I don't want that. how do i prevent it?

Options:
1-fire your manager. I assume, by the way you're asking, that you're playing GM only, and your manager is making roster decisions. Obviously, his vision and strategy doesn't align with yours, and that's not going to work. Hire instead, a more conventional manager.
2- demote or replace your following pitcher. Your manager must not have enough faith in him, to allow him to start and stay in a game. He probably is too green, or just barely mediocre. Get a proper starter.
3- set rotation to strict order. Every fifth game, play the game, subbing your starter before the game, leaving your opener in the bullpen.
