Perfect Card Duplicate Pulls

This is me just venting so feel free to ignore...

But has anyone else that opens a LOT of packs pulled the same perfect card over and over and over? I've opened a ton of packs and pulled 11 perfect cards. 7(!!!!) of them have been the live Max Scherzer. That seems like a ridiculous amount of the same perfect card (the last 5 have all been this card). I'm no game dev, but I wouldn't want someone to see the black/gold background come out, get excited about pulling a perfect, and then get massively disappointed when it's the same card you've already pulled multiple times before.

I get this is a first world problem, its just really frustrating.

**Edit** Within minutes of posting this I got another one... WTF.

**Edit 2** After looking at it with a clearer head there must be/have been a glitch/bug with that card. If you remove all the Scherzer's the perfects line up more or less with the odds.

Dude Id kill for a perfect. This is exactly as you described. A first world problem. You are the luckiest person I've ever met. Ever. TWELVE perfects? Across how many packs? Like 15000? With how ridiculously impossible it is to get a perfect i would consider murdering baby seals for one...ONE. Im over 1760 packs and Ive gotten 2... One in 19 and a Yelich in 20. Sold for a whopping 23k (after the tax)

Yes, this is a first world problem.

Secondly, though, the problem is maths. There are very few (like, ten or fewer) live perfect cards, and you pull a live card with a 70% chance. So you may have up to a 7-10% chance of drawing the same live card consecutive times. This may not sound like much, but is big enough to snowball into such a chain for one player.

Some would call that luck. I bet the odds of pulling the same iron 4x in one pack have to be worse than pulling a gold and maybe even a diamond

Hearthstone has it set up where you can't pull the same legendary card until you have all the others. But, that wouldn't be so good in this game because the cards can't be sold on the AH for the same amount. If they did that here you wouldn't get a second chance at a perfect Walter Johnson, for example, until you sold him from your collection.

I'd hold onto those Jared Walsh cards. He won the cow milking contest at Angels Stadium this week and that might boost his ratings!

The number of perfect cards is a very small pool, and as someone mentioned earlier live cards are basically a 3 : 1 chance even still. So your issue is definitely not bad coding, it's shush about your wah wah I got perfects and nobody else does but I'm sad about stuff cuz I can't field all 100's on my team.

That was the nicest way I could put that. Seriously, dude.
