Redeeming Key for purchased PP

So, how long should I wait if I get the error stating "License could not be redeemed! Please check the license key and try again in a minute, the license may not be active yet."? I tried reloading the game, waiting for the next sim round to cycle through, etc. It's been half an hour and the error is still there. I am cutting and pasting the key so not a transcription error. I can wait but didn't want it to expire.

Hey LansdowneSt, we are aware of an issue with redeeming PP purchases $20 and over. We are working to have it fixed. Can you try your redemption again and let me know if its still giving you issues?
