Live Updates?
I am a bit confused I thought the point of starting the 2019 season with "Live" checked was to have the current lineups( to a degree). In today's Yankees vs Detroit game the lineups OOTP 20 had were way off including the starting pitchers. What good is live then or did I miss something?
How would I go back to March 28th WITH the correct lineups and transactions and replay them? Or is that even possible? Last edited by surfcandy; 04-03-2019 at 10:24 PM. |

It's impossible to do 100% correct lineup... after the AI took over it will set the team according to what is the best team rooster according to him.

That is not possible unless you took over every team.
The live start feature will update to current ratings, standings and player stats and transactions, but once you load the game the teams AI will start making moves based on what it thinks best. |

So it's not exactly a total replay of the current season. It's a partial replay and if I manually adjusted MY lineup for my team it wouldn't be realistic for the other teams who's lineups were "adjusted" by the AI.
So what I am getting is the most "current transactions" (based on the last download) and an actual "replay" afterwards NOT based on the real today"current"season only a replay of what the AI decides to do with lineups after the last download. |

No, it is not a replay.
It is a snapshot of the current season 'as is'. For example if you start your save now at the end of April 3, it will show a 'snapshot' of current MLB as of April 3. Once the game starts though, anything can happen and will not follow real MLB. As you move forward, you can update ratings but this will not effect game results, standings, transactions. Only RATINGS. |

Thanks for your reply.
I believe the Historical (past seasons) are based on the historical lineups and transactions (don't know about injuries?) since they are recorded and already happened. Is this correct? |

Correct. You can enable historical lineups and transactions for all seasons since 1901. Choose "single-season replay" (in Step One of the Historical League wizard) for best results (IMO).

Does this include injuries ( in other words injuries are sort of "turned off"during replay) and follow historical injuries and not current game possibilities of injury. |

Yes, the transactions file now includes historical injuries.
