OOTP 19 vs 20

Hello, I have OOTP 19 and just found out 20 came out about a week ago. I was considering buying it, but when I looked it up on Steam, it looks to be basically the same exact game of 19 that I already have. The UI doesn't even look slightly different in the screenshots on the Steam store page.

Are there any noticeable or actual differences to 19 vs 20 that I should upgrade for, or are they just going the usual yearly sports games route and doing minor changes each year? I was going to hold off on The Show because it's constantly almost the same game and I only like the Franchise mode which they tend to neglect, and I was just going to play OOTP for this year, until I saw the game looks exactly the same as well.

Any help or opinions would be appreciated, thanks.

So far seems to depend on who you ask, Tyler98. OOTP covers such a large range of tastes that it must be difficult to please everyone from version to version. What a balancing act. Anyway, you asked for opinions so here's mine...

The game received a nice tune-up and some nice additions to the 3D on-field play. In fact, I've gone all in on 3D with this version. However, most of other improvements seem to be under the hood and are not readily visible. So far, I can attest that I'm enjoying the game more than I did with OOTP19.

The biggest update to the game are new animations and live services. Your player ratings will now change based on how they play during the 2019 season.

If you play larger leagues then the playoff seeds will work(not fixed in OOTP19).

Also tie breakers are explained(haven't gotten that far).

Plus fictional schedules are supposed too have more options(haven't gotten that far).
