Creating an AAAA w Affiliates?

Need a gut check on a trial I’ve executed before, but I’m approaching it a different way. Can I effectively create a AAAA league by moving existing teams to it AND somehow keep their existing minor league clubs affiliated to them? The intention is to create their own feeders, in practice. Does the upper league in this case have to have a ML status to have affiliates? I don’t recall. Going to forge ahead later tonight. Backup backup backup. I know. Thanks in advance, creator gurus.

I do this activity all the time. The leagues and teams setup page will need to be your friend.
