Commissioner cheating?
I'm currently in a league and a few suspicious things have caught my eye and i was hoping to get some opinions on it. There have been a few things but nothing concrete, but this one really got my attention. I was checking out player development reports and everyone got the usual report on the 1st of the month, at the end of the month before the month was over, the commissioner had an extra Development report involving his top specs and a big hitter. I went down the entire list of teams to see if anyone else had any reports on that date, and there wasn't one report out of 32 teams, only the commissioners, and they were all + development changers. Would this indicate cheating or just one hell of a coincidence?

The dates it shows are just dates of the scouting reports. Not the dates that there were changes made. How frequently are your scouting reports? Can you post screen shots?

you can request a scouting report at anytime. the difference is that it does "1" player at a time. (whether 1 or 5 per request i don'tknow... a limited # is the point)
so, as long as it wasn't more than what's possible to scout in that amount of time. if you change scouting settings, it causes a league-wide rescout. e.g. if it was down on a day a normal report would come out, then you'd have 2 scouting values listed for that 1 day. you'd see it on your reports too, is the point. so, if it's just his team, he's making use of requesting a scouting report on those perticular players. that doesn't eliminate the possibility the commissioner is editing things and then requesting a rerport, of course... but the reports themselves are not suspicious as you described. also, if they are 'better' prospects and not malcontent personalities, it'd more likely be positive changes than negative, in general. gigantic increases as opposed to small incremental changes over time is more concerning... TCR is possible for small and larger changes, but not likely to occur on the same 3 players someone whimsically decides to re-scout that month. Last edited by NoOne; 02-18-2019 at 01:48 PM. |
