4Ever Baseball to open on Opening Day
4Ever Baseball is very simply a daily OOTP5 league. We use very few special rules outside of what OOTP5 offers and we sim daily (Monday through Saturday). In 4Ever Baseball you get the opportunity to micro-manage just a bit more, since the most games we ever sim at one time is three. You can tweak your lineups, rest your players, try different team settings, etc. as often or as little as you like.
The league uses real players and teams. The teams are all set using their actual farm clubs, logos and managers. To get to the point we are on April 1, 1963, the OOTP5 AI did an initial draft and made several trades during the 1962 campaign. The AI then simmed through the entirety of the 1962 season (it was quite exciting at the end as 3 teams were within a game of the World Series in the American League). Then held it's own Free Agent Signing Period, Amateur Draft and Spring Training. That's where online play begins - Opening Day, 1963. If you are interested in joining or just being a spectator, feel free to stop by 4Ever Baseball at anytime. There is a short form to apply for a team and we begin on March 31 - Opening Day! What a way to start the baseball season - with 4Ever Baseball. Enjoy! |

Sorry, haven't had a chance to update the Owner's page today yet. Cleveland, Boston, Philly, Chicago & Washington are taken as of this post.

I think it's wonderful that you are opening on opening day. It's those twists that make a league special.

Indians have a bright future with a farm system overflowing with goodies.
P Wilbur Wood (12th), RF Tony Oliva (17th), 1B Rusty Staub (20th), 2B Pete Rose (22nd), 2B Cookie Rojas (26th) Cubbies are almost equally well stocked down on the farm. Well at least the OOTP scout thinks so.

Wanted to let you know that your website looks great and you have a solid league concept. If I wasn't so busy I'd sign up. I'll definitely keep tabs on this league. Good luck!

This is going to be an excellent league. We have a good start on a fine group of owners, and Adventuran is a great commish. He is very dedicated, and does a lot of good work to make leagues enjoyable for all involved.
Check us out, you wont be disappointed. |

All correct. If you like a historical league, I promise you this one will be very well run and just as "hands-on" as you want it to be.
It's going to be fast-paced and fun, so have a look.

And then there were two ...
The LA Dodgers & Pittsburgh Pirates (Last year's NL Penant winners) still remain "unmanned" at the moment. Opening Day is, well, Opening Day - next Monday. Start your baseball season off right by joining or dropping by 4Ever Baseball. |
