I am going down to Gold level!

Apparently I was able to ride a wave of good fortune and early adoption of playing all the way up to Perfect level (where I lasted 3 seasons!).

Now back in Diamond and where I made the promotion several seasons back, now I'm so outclassed I lost the most games in the league this season (a modest 98 losses though).

I wonder what awaits in Gold after all these seasons?

Has it been discussed why only 6 new cards are released each week? Just trying to keep auction prices high?

Oooh, Historical Legend Pudge, nice!

While I'm excited for these cards, I will repeat my plea to lean more towards cards of players that aren't already in the universe versus different cards of players that already exist, especially since you can't use two different cards of the same player at once. Thanks for your consideration!

Nolan Ryan was traded to the Angels as part of a package for Jim Fregosi.

We feel 6 is a nice balance. Its enough that it makes the set intriguing but not too many that it would dilute the content pool for the future releases. Auction prices have nothing to do with it

I'm unsure how the Marlins Pudge can end up being a better card than the MVP Pudge. Worse hitter, much worse at throwing out runners, worse dWAR...pretty much worse all around.

There are only two players wearing Texas Rangers caps in the Hall of Fame.

Both were included in this release, though neither of these cards are Rangers.

Because it's his Peak card (he didn't fit into any other category, so we had to put him as PEAK). So the ratings are based off his career and not just the 2003 season. Given the card series we currently use, it's the only way we could make it work

Wait, peak is based on his entire career and not just his peak seasons? Because his 5 best seasons with the Rangers were all better than his Marlins season.

If that is the case, why even use the word Peak instead of Career?
