how is 19 for historical sims?

looking for honest opinions

last played ootp16 i play only historical sims real players 50-80's

has this game changed much since ootp16 in that regard? anything new for what my preference is?

Only knock i can come up with is some players will exceed expectations, mostly all time greats. I have several historical leagues that i have running right now. I need to get into them more.
HOF 1936 - today
Taking each HOF class putting them on the team they are most known for and playing it out / simming. This is still at OD.

$33 challenge. Find my thread on this one but taking several good Sox / Cubs players and playing a NFL style schedule. Still looking to fill up teams.

Random debut 1871 - today. In 1872 now. Ross Barnes got robbed out of MVP after hitting .404. I have Doc White & mike Mussina on my team.

Historical is essentially the only way I play and I almost never have a problem. It's pretty incredible, my 12 year old self would have died and gone to heaven if he could see the historical sim aspect of OOTP
