Stats for all my lost players

So i am pretty certain the key to success is constanltly upgrading.
Since I started paying attention and upgrading each player i have gotten better.

But how do i get the stats back of everyone that played on my team?

I gave up a guy that had 20 homers for 25pts rated a 63
I assume overtime a player with 73 rating will always be better than a 63

Unfortunately, there is no way to track all the players you ever owned.

You can do that in the regular OOTP (example, you can shortlist a player and then look at him many years later and see how he performed with other teams).

When PT was launched, there was an option to create a shortlist but it was not actually implemented so they removed the option.

However, it works the other way, if you buy a card that was used by someone else, you can see the stats listed on the card of your player.

Generally speaking, yes....players with higher ratings tend to perform better.
However, just like the real world, you can have a player that has a bad year or weeks of poor performance.

My Jackie Robinson has not performed as well as I expected but given enough opportunities, I am sure his stats will get better and he will produce more consistent results.

In the lower levels, getting lots of homeruns is easily achieved but very soon, you will see that the power hitters start to get more and more Ks and not make enough contacts to get consistent high # of HRs.

Again, don't pay too much attention to the overall rating. It is just a general guideline. You can easily find a silver player like Ozzie Smith (78) that performs very well at the top level.

I have the stats of every player I've ever owned. I used the Sortable Statistics page to export all stats on before the new season starts. I then added the stats into Excel and use pivot tables to subtotal stats by players. By setting up filters, I can see all my players by team, by year, by position, by league level, etc.

I do the same. I export all player stats and as long as you also export the team name, you can keep record of all players.

This comes in handy when you want to look back at another team and see the players they owned.

However, I am not sure if there is a way to track a player you owned, sold off, and then again sold to another team.

Do you do that page by page? Because when I write to disk, it only exports the first page and not all pages. Trying to figure out how to do it in one shot.

It does all players and opens in a browser window. I then right click and "select all", copy them, then paste them into a worksheet in Excel I called "Source Data". Not sure why you only get a page. I go to Statistics then Sortable Statistics. I then click the drop-down "Report" and use "Write report to disk"

Wow, that's aggravating that it won't work for me. Very confused. Do you think this is some kind of bug?

Very strange that I don't have the page counter on the right upper side like in your picture, instead I've got info as to what I'm seeing (For example it might say Default View - All Pitchers - Scouting OSA - 375 Players). Which version are you using? I've tried it in both the downloadable and the steam version. Not sure if there is a setting to change it?

Edit - Also your looks to have button at the top whereas mine has more of a box with an arrow pointing down. Could the skin have something to do with it?
