Quick OOTP5 Financial Question

I have $10Million left for extensions in August, but $0 for Free Agents.

I've extended the contracts of all the players that I want to..

What can I do with that $10M now? Can I use that towards free agents in the offseason?

Pretty sure that the 10M is only available to you in the offseason. I believe its the projection of what your payroll will be minus your projected revenue. So basically the payroll room comes available in the offseason when you lose some of your free agents.

Someone else should probably confirm that though

you can't do anything with that $10 million except sign contract extensions. the amount you have to spend on extensions is the total amount of all of the contracts that are expiring plus cash on hand. It's possible that some of that $10 million will be availabe to you in free agency, but that depends on how much arbitration costs you as well as if you made any profit this year + where your payroll is at compared to your previous year's (the year you're in now) revenue totals.
