Do non-historical franchises get ballpark upgrades?
I did a non-historical expansion in a historical game. The new teams got what are obviously old ballparks that existed in the city, 20,000 seats with odd dimensions. Do these upgrade automatically or must I design a new one?

If you have league evolution turned off, you'll have to upgrade them manually, I believe.

Ah, OK. So where's the switch to threaten to move the team if the locals won't pay for a new park?

A couple teams were early expansion in cities that later got teams so I gave them their later parks. The other two I gave renamed versions of existing parks.
I was trying to make the four parks neutral in aggregate then it occurred to me it doesn't matter from an overall because the engine adjusts league totals to history. |
