Thank you Whales

I hate that term Whales because we have seemed to turn it into something that is negative to be. But I want to take the time to thank them and anyone else who supported The PT Mode. I feel and we can ask Markus this ourselfs that because of this Mode (If it becomes successful in any way) will help keep the cost down for OOTP so as he will never need to raise the price of this product. If that ends up being the case this will be a great thing for all. PT was not the reason I bought this game. It never was. (Obviously) It is a great simulation of baseball. I have had years of enjoyment playing this game and not the PT part of it. So I have seen so many complaints about all the Whales and what they are doing to this game that I thought I would just add a post that was positive towards them. Thank you for helping to keep the price down on this wonderful game but also helping with the further development of OOTP. I am sure if this is successful Markus will have quite a few little other surprises for us all. Until then let’s Just enjoy this game in any manor you may choose to. Play ball....

I think (at least in my case) that I'm not blaming "Whales". I consider most of what I see lately as people of limited means seeing they have no future with Perfect Team as it is currently constructed. But that is hardly blaming Whales or at least in my case, not my intent. It's more of an observation on the current state of the game.

Now, if the Devs make some changes in the future....well....that remains to be seen!

I agree! Not sure why some people spending money has become such a "thing." Those that are upset have their very own theme song though:

"Kill the Whales"

I am quite happy that people are spending money. It speeds up the advancement of the game for everyone. Otherwise, there is no one to buy that perfect card that was pulled from a pack. You are forced to play it whether it fits your team or not. Since there are people out there with lots of points from money spent, that perfect card can be turned into an entire balanced team enabling the previous owner to advance one or two levels.

Don't they pick a price point to maximize their revenue? Why would PT change this?
