Is Auction Housed rigged or flawed?

I am up very early in the morning for work, and three mornings in a row I have found a bargain that will help my team. I submit my bids late in the process only trying to use the early hour to my advantage.


All three mornings I have received the same message, "An Error has occurred and your bid can not be accepted again". WTF! So I ask is the processed rigged or have major flaws not worked out in beta?

This happened to me for the first time yesterday. Since I was bidding with only a couple of seconds remaining, I just assumed the error occurred due to someone else winning the bid and the game didn't handle it correctly. But maybe something else is causing this?


Were you able to find the player you had just bid on? If not, maybe the player had been won by someone else already. I'm not sure if it updates right away so maybe by the time you bid on it, the card was gone but it just hadn't shown that. Just guessing. It would be nice to hear from a developer on this.

This was my thought as well.

If you guys can let us know your usernames that this happened on , Chris can check the logs to see if there's anything there that indicates what happened and why.

Chris just mentioned that this message will typically happen if you bid the same price as the "Buy it Now' price.

I took a screenshot before I bid and I just checked it and saw that I didn't have enough PP to bid the BIN price so in my case, it must have been something else.

I’ve had this happen, it’s not the buy now price, I believe it has something to do with another bid coming in at the last moment at or above your bid price. I could be wrong

Yes, I've had it happen in two different scenarios:

1. I submitted a bid, but another player had submitted a higher bid just moments before mine.

2. I submitted a bid, but another player used the BIN to buy the player outright just moments before my bid.

I expect the error could also occur if no bids are on the card and the card owner removes the card from sale just before the auction ends so to not lose the card for effective the minimum bid amount.

I also had this happen when a certain player I really wanted was up for auction and I hadn't seen him since the beta, I went to put in an early bid so I could keep track of the player but as I put the bid in the card was pulled from the auction and I got that error.
