Constantly Installing Game Data on Open

When I open OOTP 19 in always wants to install ballpark files and logos and schedule template files, etc... it basically keeps wanting to install the game whenever I open it.

This is particularly annoying.

Does anyone else have this happen or does anyone know how to resolve this?

This is becoming so irritating that I just can't bring myself to want to open the game any more.

If anyone at OOTP knows how to resolve this I would certainly appreciate it because otherwise this just kills any excitement I have trying to get into the game. Takes 10-15 minutes to install everything every time I open the game.

The first thing to check here would be the hard drive the game is installed on. OOTP shouldn't try to reinstall when you reopen it unless there's a patch or the files become damaged or change somehow. So if the game is regularly reinstalling even when there isn't a patch, I'd guess the files are somehow getting damaged or overwritten.

So the first step would be to run disk checker/defrag on the hard hard drive OOTP is installed on. If that doesn't uncover any issues, then let me know a little info about what other programs you have running at the same time as OOTP and we'll go from there.

Ran a chkdsk and nothing came up.

The only programs I usually have running with it are Steam and OOTP 18.

I'm guessing I should probably just uninstall it and try reinstalling it from scratch to see if that helps?
