Who gets promoted/relegated?
Hey, can we get a little transparency on this? I know the glitches are still being worked out, but I'd like to know the logic that's being used.
Example: right now, I am one of the worst teams in my silver league. In my sub-league I am the second-worst team, in fact. However, there are 2-3 teams in the other sub-league that are considerably worse. So with a finish like this: Sub-League A Team 1 65-97 Team 2 64-98 Sub-League B Team 3 61-101 Team 4 60-102 ...who gets relegated? I'd love to hear the same w/r/t promotion. I think we can live with glitches as this mode gets up and running, but opacity is extremely frustrating.

We'll need Markus or Chris to confirm, but I'm fairly certain it will simply be the lowest 2 ranked teams, so in the above case, teams 3+4.
For promotion, as mentioned, teams should be ranked by playoff results, and then by winning pct. So basically league standings are: WS Winner WS Loser LCS Loser LCS Loser (tiebreak between them regular season record) DS Loser DS Loser DS Loser DS Loser WC Loser WC Loser Best non-playoff team ... Worst non-playoff team Down the road, we can certainly look to add some sort of "promotion/relegation" page. But for now, best of luck in staying out of the bottom! |
