Career-Ending Injuries

Saw a small issue just now while simming. Doing an historical replay, Wally Berger's career ended at the age of 24 (during his first season), at which point he had 36 HR. The minute his career ended, he disappeared from the league leaders - not just from the standings page, but even from the league leaders page, the top 5 listing in the yearly synopsis, etc. There's no record of him.

He shouldn't be wiped from the league leaders or the record books, just because his career ended.

The team he was on might have released him, at which point he gets wiped from the leaders.

But he shouldn't be, is my point. He would have finished 2nd or 3rd in HRs in the league. And shouldn't the AI be holding these guys on their rosters until the end of the season so that they retire and the team doesn't have to eat the rest of their contract?

Of course, I'm playing with financials off, but I hope the AI doesn't automatically cut a player if they sustain a career-ending injury with financials on. That would be another area where the human has an advantage over the AI, if that's the case.

I have mentioned this, at this time I do not have a timeframe when this will be resolved. Sorry

It's not that big of a deal, but something that I noticed.
