Best Way To Cut Down On Strike-Outs?

I play out all my games in one-pitch mode. Consistently strike out a TON (double digits). Granted, I am using the Detroit Tigers, but still. How do I improve our K's? Hitting Coach with a focus on patience? Manager with high Teach Hitting rating?

I understand "Avoid K's" rating plays in there, but I'm trying to improve it with the current squad, and it's not realistic to bench my starting squad.

check your hitting coach's focus is it for power or neutral or contact ???
