"Star Gone Pitcher"

Whilst playing a manager mode game, I switched a 5 star prospect from MR to a CL and he lost 1.5 stars and went from B/G/G/B/B to A/A/G/G/B

I changed him back, but to no avail, hence "Star Gone Pitcher"

WTF?

I have been looking forward to OOTP5, with all the changes and add-ons and intricate changes in game play which makes this a superb sim and - to some - not to be missed. And that is why I am disappointed in myself for expecting too much.

There has been sp much back-slapping of the developers of the game on the whole and yes, there have been improvements. The whole structure of the game has changed for the better, with greater benefits to solo play and increased options for league play online.

And yet for me there has not been enough testing at all. I must have noticed around 20 errors in game play which I will not list here.

Don't tell me that this is too hard to check. Don't tell me that there has been extensive testing. Don't tell me you've fixed all the bugs. Why was 5.01 relased 5 days after 5?

Get it right first time or don'ty release it and raise hopes with one hand and slap people down with the other.

I've seen this a couple times, and it has something to do with the player editor (or the little part that you use when you change a position) showing you the REAL ratings on a player, not what was seen by the scout. The same thing can happen when you put a nickname on the player. I would guess that you cheaped out on your scout, and he wasn't very accurate.
