Ideas That Might Have Already Been Discussed - Football and Basketball Games

Hi everyone. I just signed up. First off, I do not know if anyone has posted a similar thread before, however I want to get the ball rolling. I want to make this clear, the inventors of OOTP are geniuses. It is by far my favorite baseball game ever (runner up is All Star Baseball for PlayStation). I am a stats guy and boy does this game play almost perfect for me. Some hiccups have led me to start new seasons with a whole new expansion team, but it is worth it. Sometimes the radio caller gives inaccurate stats for the game or the 3D models do something funny. However, hopefully those things will be fixed in another patch or maybe I am playing it too hard.

Anyways, what I wanted to state was that I would LOVE a similar game for American Football and Basketball. I know it takes many intelligent men to make this game in addition to long hours. However, if they could add a NBA game, that would be awesome. Just imagine building up an expansion team. Starting out with nobodies and then get a great player to lead you to the Finals. The Cavs went from a nobody to champions with Lebron James. Just imagine drafting a player to your expansion team who could win you multiple titles in the NBA.

So what do you think? Anyone like these ideas?

But as far as basketball, I don't think they have one in their plans in the near future. I know there are some other games out there, one seems to be the most popular is from Wolverine Studios, but I have not played it in a while so I cannot speak as to how good it is. I do remember you could play as an expansion team in their NBA game.

They are making a NFL game? I did not know that. Does anyone know when it is suppose to come out? I would totally get that.

I think a NBA game would really be cool. I wish I could talk to a developer about that.

I feel like a NBA (or Basketball Game) is a no brainer...That would cover all major US sports. There is a market for a OOTP quality basketball game. The games available for basketball right now are mediocre.

Open to anything, because I really like this developer. But I think before they expand into other markets, they really need to master what they already have on the market. Make FHM as in depth as OOTP. Migrate OOTP to mobile platform, as there is a huge market for tablet gamers.

Yep they are already making FOFM for us football nerds! About time, I've gotten bored with every Madden or football (except NCAA 14) game in the last few years pretty quickly. Mostly because the franchise modes are very very simple or just plain awful.

I honestly think basketball is the only sport game option here where gamers aren't looking for something totally new, yet. They have two triple A studios making NBA games that are at least mediocre. I don't like basketball that much, but 2K's franchise/GM mode(s) are pretty good compared to virtually every non-sim sports title ever made.

They already made MLB Manager for mobile =P though a full version would be better (but probably not possible yet)

In 2003 I bought computer programs - Season Ticket Baseball ( OOTP) , Season Ticket Football , Season Ticket Basketball ..... Infogrames ..
Baseball = Marcus Heinsohn Inc.
Football = Dave Koch Sports
Basketball = Fast Break Basketball
