Top area not disappearing

During the play the top area isn't disappearing with the widgets even though I have it selected. I can live with it but any idea why it won't disappear?

I just tested it here and it works fine... are you sure you have the option to hide the top area selected?

To elaborate just a little on what Markus said, there are two options in the modern views to hide things, one for the widgets and one for the top area.

I had both selected. I changed the pbp speed from instant to very fast and now the top area is disappearing. Problem solved.

Thanks for replying back. Yes, with instant PBP there's some shortcuts taken and some thing go differently, so it wouldn't surprise me if we don't have time to hide the widget, for example.
