Padres/Pilots Expansion Question
So I decided to try the Historical aspect of OOTP out for the first time and decided to do one of the expansion teams from 1969. However, whenever I begin, the expansion draft has already taken place. Do I have to start at 1968 and sim a year?
Also, if I control the Pilots, will it automatically move me to Milwaukee the following year? Any help would be appreciated! Last edited by TheBrewCrew; 08-09-2018 at 08:36 PM. |

In Short, Yes and Yes
You have to start the year before the expansion draft you want because OOTP historical seasons all begin after the expansion draft has taken place. And as for the automatic movement of the Pilots to Milwaukee, as long as you've got the box checked for historical expansion, it will also automatically move teams, including minor league teams if you have the real minors box checked. Thank you very much! Just another minor question, so when I sim the 68 season, am I able to have it where it happens just like it did? And then uncheck that option so I can essentially start at the 69 season completely historically accurate (outside of the expansion draft)? |
