Taking suggestions (again) for a game-by-game historical season

I first posted this in the Dynasty Reports section but I figured it belongs here where it might get more attention. Anyway...

Hello everyone!

A couple years ago I did my last game-by-game historical season inspired by the 1986 Mets replay rjl518 did back in 2015. Both of the ones I did were Tigers replays. I didn't finish either one. I'll link both of them here:

Go Get 'Em Tigers - The 2006 Detroit Tigers (2016):
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=269928

Wire To Wire Champions - The 1984 Detroit Tigers (2015):
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=257415

Now, I feel the itch to do one this year. However, I cannot for the life of me decide on a season and a team. That's where you come in. Which season and team would you like to see me do? I'll consider all suggestions.

I only got a couple of suggestions last time I asked, both of which I decided not to do. I'm hoping for more suggestions this time.

2010 or 2011 Rangers. Maybe do them both.

I would suggest the 1931 Yankees. It’s a good team but finished well behind the powerful a’s.
Gehrig and Ruth are there, but not career years. Pitching staff is good but not great.
And with that era you will see a ton of base hints and batters on base. Just to get a total reverse to the game as it is today but not be stuck in the dead ball era.

Whiteyball lives! The 1985 Cardinals... alternatively, if you want the same style, without elite pitching and defense, the 1976 A's.
