Just a couple things ...

First of all, let me say again how fantastic OOTP is and admit I am hooked, lined and sinkered ... I spend way, way, way too much time on OOTP - Lord knows what I could get done if it didn't exist ...

However, there are two things with 19 that are frustrating me greatly and I decided to air my concerns ...

1) First, is the stamina of pitchers used as long relievers, especially pitchers with starting stamina used in the bullpen ... I have tried a number of approaches, but I consistently have pitchers with stamina ratings of 50, 55, 60 tire in 28, 30, 32 pitches - to the point they need to be replaced if you are at all close in the game ... it doesn't matter the length of time I use them in this role, I cannot get these types of pitchers to the point of throwing in the 50 pitch range, which should be possible IMO ... in fact, I have pitchers with a stamina rating of 55 that tire as quickly in relief roles as those with 30-35 ratings for months, then if I move them back to starting can go 70-90 pitches without a problem immediately ... if anyone else has solved this, speak up, because I'm at a dead end ...

2) I wanted to wait for a while on this because I thought it might even out, but it doesn't seem to ... it may be a small thing, but I really feel 19 has way too many batters striking out without swinging ... I don't have a problem with the number of overall SO stats, which match up pretty well with today's baseball ... but I am seeing an inordinate amount of batters called on third strikes, compared to what I watch daily in real life ... it's also the situations it happens in ... for instance, I recently had my pitcher fan three straight batters in the ninth inning on called third strikes - when that opposing team was trailing by a run and not a single one was even in a full count (and two of the three had eye ratings of 35 and 40, and one of those two was a 25 rating in avoiding Ks) ... yes, this could happen on rare occasion in the world of baseball but I'm seeing too much of this in different situations and just a crazy number overall ... I'm sure there are players who will disagree with me, but it just doesn't feel realistic to me ...

So, those are off my chest ... and, again, to all involved with OOTP - you're the best and you have the best sim game going, so keep up the great work!

Now back to my latest reclamation project
