Hey all,
With the recent news of Kyler Murray (Oklahoma QB) being drafted by the A's, I'm trying to compile a list of active players who exist in the OOTP world but aren't playing baseball right now due to being in another sport. Comment if you know if any others!

Kyler Murray (2018 draft eligible, OU QB)
Patrick Mahomes (retired in OOTP, Chiefs QB)
Russell Wilson (retired in OOTP, Seahawks QB)
Torri Hunter Jr (Actually in the game - son of Tori Hunter & Notre Dame WR)
Tim Tebow (In OOTP, Florida/Broncos/Jets QB)
Drew Henson (Retired in OOTP, Michigan QB)
Jeff Samarzja (SP in OOTP for Giants, former Notre Dame WR)

John Elway played for the Oneonta Yankees in 1982, I believe, so he should be in the minor league database

Also, Muggsy Bogues had some kind of publicity stunt for a minor league team and he’s in the game.

Yeah, but then he followed up his initial post by adding Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson. I think he meant "active players in the OOTP database".

I'll just add three current players...

Amir Garrett (Reds): Played basketball for St. John's University
Kyle Parker (FA, was with COL): Starting QB for Clemson in 09/10
Matt Szczur (SD): All-American for the 2009 Villanova Football team

EDIT: And my boy Mookie Betts who competes in PBA tournaments!

Tracy McGrady's in the database from his short time with the Sugar Land Skeeters - he occasionally shows up as a pitching coach a few years into a current MLB game.

This post makes me smile. I would say without question the 3 most famous and successful 2 Sport Athletes of all time are Jim Thorpe (1920s) , Bo Jackson (1980s), and Deion Sanders (1990s) but none of them are listed above.

It is always fun to see what a difference age makes in a person's perspective and knowledge base.
