Historical Minor Leagues
I started my league in 1871, and I am now in 1933. Only recently did my team get minor league affiliates. I have maintained and import historical turned on but after every year when it imports the new minor leagues, all the settings for the leagues change and some retired players come back to join the team they were on in real life, despite having retire according to history turned off. For example i have set the rookie league rosters to have no roster limit, but when the leagues import in they switch back to 20 realisng all other players. Is there a way to import real minor leagues without these things happening?
Thanks |

The settings you are changing are not sticky (most are not) and every off-season the game reverts to the historical real life settings/teams/leagues..

if your team was the Phillies - they didn't get a minor league affiliate until 1934. By '34 all teams had at least one affiliate and most had 2 or more.
as far as i know, if you have historical expansion enabled in an historical league, there is no way to manually add minors to a team and have them stick past a year. the game just reverts back to what is programmed to be there historically. if you check BBrref - https://www.baseball-reference.com/r.../affiliate.cgi - it will tell you all the major league teams that had minor league affiliations from 1919 to the present, what those teams were. might help see if you're really missing them or if they just haven't shown up yet.
