Middle of the Lineup (#2 hitter)

I'd love to see the #2 hitter satisfy a player's request to hit in the middle of the order. Trout hits second for the Angels IRL, and I'd love to do the same without him being upset. Modern analytics places more value on the #2 hitter than #3.

If I recall, a guy asking to be a middle of the lineup hitter will likely not be upset at hitting 2nd, but won't be as happy as if he were hitting 3rd or 4th. He may not be happy, but he shouldn't be angry.

I always find that it's a guy hitting. 230 who demands to be moved up. I usually actually say "STFU" to the computer and keep him in the nine hole.
