Trade After Trade Deadline

This happened once before but I forgot to get a screen shot. But it happened again. This was a ML team trading with a minor league team. Both minor leagues have the deadline at July 31st

Post deadline trades are still possible. All players simply have to clear waivers first before it's a valid trade. Could that maybe be why? (just a guess)

the trading deadline - waiver one also, are for players with ML contracts. you can trade minor leaguers at any time - or so it's been in my leagues.
