QUESTION-changing ballpark

I am new to OOTP. I am playing a historic actual replay of 1934. I noticed the game set Cleveland Stadium as ballpark for the Indians in 1934. I have been researching and the ballpark was primarily League Park.
MY QUESTIONS: How do I replace Cleveland Stadium and use League Park?
I checked and League Park is not listed in stadiums for 1934.

Any thoughts.

Are you playing version OOTP19? If you are a newbie, I guess you are. How did you get the old ballparks into your program?

Some are saying the download and install of the PStrickert ballparks are crashing their game. I don't want that to happen to me.

I'm sure others here will be able to answer your question but I figured I'd piggyback and see if you know something about adding ballparks properly.

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...lay.php?f=3879 Search around in there. Someone else will have to explain how to get it in the right folder because I seem to mess it up every single time.

It's really not that difficult. Here's a listing of all modded ballparks.

I read about the crashes, too. But I loaded them last night and so far no problems. They look amazing.

The ballpark mod, available only for 19 and (so far) only through Steam has been dowloaded and used by hundreds of users without incident (except for two reports, one of which involved downloading an outdated mod for 18). The mod includes silvam’s and adion’s parks, unaltered, so they’re identical to the parks available separately at the links silvam and adion provide. So, please don’t be misled by a couple of reports.

My problem is... I have eSellerate. Not Steam.

I've read eSellerate may be the problem.

The parks mod is not available yet through (esellerate and) Add Ons Central. So, moot point, I guess.

Curious, Pstrickert.

Is there anything you can do to tweak your ballparks so that we Version19 eSellerate guys can use your outstanding parks?

Getting those would make this game complete for me.

I have the eSellersate version and have been using Silvam and Adions parks without issue. People need to stop spreading this crash issue that started because of a couple reports. Even if you do suddenly suffer a crash that you think is because you downloaded these parks all you have to do is go in the ballpark/model folder and delete the park and use something else.

An aside to John McGraw--I don't mean to be harsh but from what I have seen of your posts I get the impression you may not be truly comfortable with computers. I know myself and others have tried to help you and every time you give up and revert to the I'm scared what might happen defense. That not only robs you of a better game but might scare off other people who read your posts. I hope you can get a little more comfortable with computers and the game itself. Good luck

Also please see my reply in this other thread you started as it may be the reason for crashes

did i also read somewhere that if you download the parks - (which i haven't figured out how to do yet). you CAN NOT use them in Historical Exhibitions. For example if i play a series with the 1953 Yankees and the 1923 Yankees i can't do it?

What happened to Add Ons Central this year?

After lack luster support of mods in Steams workshop I finally bought the game from OOTP this year and somehow Add Ons Central dies.
