So how do you set up your fictional leagues?

In Germany when something is hard to answer we have a saying "What was first? The chicken or the egg?"

Well, what's first for you when you set up a league:

Do you set your league up according to a schedule that's available or do you set the league up the way you want it and create your own schedule if necessary?

For my part it's option 2

It's real hard work to create a schedule, but in the end it's worth it.

I kind of do both at different times.
