Game could not save primary logo? Or anything for that matter?
Okay, so this is bugging me. Outside of getting the Error 83 from Steam on my main laptop, I decided to try and play some OOTP on another laptop I have that has run OOTP 18 before, but had all of it's saves corrupted or damaged or loss whatever.
So, I've been trying to start some OOTP games on there, both in OOTP 18 and OOTP 19. You know, just dropped 40 bucks on it. Except I can't, at least not in the traditional sense in that the game can't save any logos, jerseys, ballcaps, nothing. I get this message each time, and it makes a fictional logo because it can't read the file: ![]() (OOTP 18 in this case, but it happens in OOTP 19 too.) It's a pain in the neck because I have to click each time to create a fictional thing and it does everything, and I mean everything, jerseys, ballcaps and logos. I mean, the problem is, there are no .pngs in the OOTP filebase or whatever for them, it'ss all gz_raw and it's because MLB is proprietary and everything. And I have winRaR and all, I have no idea what is going on. So, am I screwed or should I just stick to fictional leagues? This didn't happen on my old laptop either, or on this one for a matter, it worked fine but now it's being al finicky. EDIT: Seems like fictional; leagues aren't even working, no facegen options, no logos, nothing. Jesus Christ, I just want to play this game.

You try a different extension ? I've changed logos, jerseys, and caps with no issue (success both selecting a new image in game, and adding files out of game to be auto-loaded with proper naming) . But, I've never used a png file.
Edit : Nope that's not it. I can use png files as well. Last edited by Coja; 04-08-2018 at 12:01 PM. |
