Help please, where are these at??

Hey guys!
I cant find the proper files after I create a stadium on custom kits. Only files I can find of my new stadium is OOTP3D and SC.... I cant find the typical files we need, the obj, prk I think its called and whichever others we use (cant remember right now), but are those files hiding somewhere? I think I've looked everywhere they could possibly be. Any help I sure would appreciate it.
Thanks so much in advance and I hope everyone has a great day!

Custom kits? Are you referring to the in-game stadium editor?

OOTP3D and SC? What do these refer to?

Thank you so much for replying Mytreds ....
yes, the custom kits I was just shortening, its the 3D BallPark Construction Kits..
I go in, create my stadium, last step I save it... and I cant find it in any of my game folders (Or other folders for that matter)
The only files I see about my new stadium are the OOTP3D file and the SC file.
For example, I created a park in Hartford, I named it Hartford Plaza. I saved it when I was done. The only files I have of it is inside my save I have files that reads:
Hartford Plaza.ootp3d and
Hartford Plaza.sc
Those are it, I cant find any other file to my saved created ballpark. Like, I assume I should have a file like past years that would be called:
Hartford Plaza.prk and a couple others as well but none of those files are showing up.
Its just sooooooo frustrating

Ok before I go replicating your situation, try this.

When you’re in team settings, click on Edit Ballpark. Then in the next screen, on the top left, under SELECT BALLPARK TO EDIT, there are two drop down menus. One is to select a league, the other to select a stadium. See if your stadium is in that drop down menu.

If it’s not, select different leagues or no league in the other drop down menu and see what shows up in the stadium menu.

Ok thanks so much....
it WAS in the drop down menu of my league which is awesome and again thanks! Its got the correct parameters that I gave it which is awesome.
Buttttt, still got a question, the picture didnt change on the setting screen, I know if I go to the pictures & coordinates inside Edit ballpark to import the information, I dont have the proper file anywhere to load or import that the other stadiums have. So though Ive been able to now thanks to you, find the stadium for its info to show up.... the default piciture is what is still showing up inside the Edit ballpark screen.
Is there anyway you can think of that I could be missing on trying to do? I may just have to put up with the default stadium but was so hoping like previous years and have the stadium selected showing, whether I created it or a user did. (by the way, im using a user created Stadium for the tigers and I got it to show up but the proper files were there for me to select)

Are you asking about the default stadium screen when looking at the 2D view? You’d simply need to take a screenshot of your created stadium when you’re in the 3D model viewer. If you need detailed instructions, let me know. It’ll just take about 10-15 minutes to do.

Don't parks have a .prk suffix attached to them? I haven't created any ballparks, but I've searched for them a lot and they all have that attached.

I don't know about the in-game stadium builds, but if only so that it's written down somewhere we can get to later, the externally-built stadiums I've made and seen have:

.obj file: this is the guts of it, and where all of the structures and surfaces inside and outside the stadium are defined, along with names for all of the textures (images and/or colors and/or patterns) displayed on those surfaces. This is output from Sketchup. It's just a text file, though I have only ever tried to edit it under duress.

.mtl file: this is also output by Sketchup at the same time as the .obj file, and it has pointers to all of the actual image files used in the .obj file, along with some lines saying how they should be displayed. So, this is the file that has to get tinkered with to make the animated crowd work, and it's also the file that will help diagnose what's wrong if something looks weird with a texture. It's a text file.

Textures folder: this is the last piece output by Sketchup, again at the same time as the others. It actually holds the image files pointed to by the .mtl file. So, in principle, everything pointed to by the .mtl file should be in here (other than the pointer to the animated crowd). If you have an unexpected texture on a surface, one of the main culprits is missing an image in this folder, whether because it isn't a png or something else happened.

.ootp3 file: this is made by OOTP at the time that a stadium is created. This holds all the camera angles and the grid. This is _not_ a text file, or at least shouldn't be treated as something you can freely edit. I have, however, successfully copied it from other parks and renamed it, which serves (if you're careful) to set the home plate and foul line positions as well as the camera angles very easily (the grid still needs to be made).

.prk file: I believe this is only made on demand within OOTP. It serves (if I remember right) to compile pointers to various files and also includes weather and the dimensions of the park. In theory, I believe one can play without any .prk files if one is willing to do a bunch of importing by hand, and depending on when the .prk file is made relative to the park being done it may not quite be right. But for importing external parks, it is definitely very simple if there is a .prk file.

Not sure if this helps here specifically, but as I said, at least it's now all in one place.
