Question x- & z- before team names, what does they mean?

Hi

I have started a new fantasy league 1.1.2017 and simmed the first year to get some stats into the database. So its now 1.1.2018 and I have job offers from "Philadelphia Squires" with no stats what so ever????

See pictures:

And some of the other teams has x and z before there names. Whats does it mean and any clue why "Philadelphia Squires" has no stats?

Thanks in advance.
Mark

The teams marked clinched a division title (x) or playoff spot (z) in the prior season. Those marks are not erased until the first day of preseason when all prior year records are cleared.

The teams with no stats might be expansion teams. Check the history for the league to see if they were in the league last season.

Looks like your league expanded to Philadelphia and El Paso that is why Philadelphia does not have any stats.

Hi Orcin and thanks!

Not really sure what a "division title" or "playoff spot" is? (Still learning )

I will have to read up on expansion teams

Division title = finished first in the division and automatically qualified for the playoffs
Playoff spot = qualified for the playoffs but did not finish first in the division

Essentially coming from nowhere - expansion teams are just brand new teams.

By default, OOTP leagues will have certain things enabled under "league evolution." Mostly rule changes, but occasionally the game will just create new franchises or relocate existing ones on its own.
