Just simmed first season
I played as the 1951 NY Giants. I decided to take out over 1/2 of the minor leagues, at the time they has as many as 15 minor league teams, so I limited it to 6. After the 1st season, all of the leagues that I deleted re-appeared. Is there a way to prevent this from occurring, or will the sim automatically re-crease those leagues because they were there historically?

a historical game will recreate those leagues - as they are part of the history. i've not tried this, but if you uncheck auto league evolution, it will keep new leagues from coming in, but i don't know if it will keep the deleted ones from returning. Possibly create a test game and try it. ???? i don't know that it will, or not. it's not something i've tested.

Guessing I can't delete those leagues now because I am in Challenge Mode, right?

As I advance into spring training I got the message "Illegal number of players on the active roster" for a minor league team that I don't control.
How do you get past this? |

There's a setting in the league setup to allow ghost players for minor league teams.
