Cut off date for the post season

Hi all,

Is there a cut off date when a player needs to be on your 40-man roster (and 25-Man) to be eligible for the postseason?

The playoff roster rules use the roster expansion date (sept 1 in MLB). Then depending on your option check, a player needs to be on either your 25 or 40-man roster to be eligible for the playoffs, and in your organization to be eligible to be added as an injury replacement.
