Ottawa Champions Perfect Team Dynasty
Since I decided to do this around the all star break of the first season, the team has changed
greatly. I have bought a few packs but nothing with money and probably wont but will try to build a winning team using the game and playing out the seasons. I have enjoyed the mode quite a bit so far and hope that maybe people will enjoy this journey and try it out as well. The opening day roster was this on day 1 Alan Wiggins - RF Trey Turner - SS Aramis Ramirez - DH Yoenis Cespedes - LF Travis Shaw - 3b Frankie Frisch - 2b Joe Mauer - 1b Albert Almora - cf Russell Martin - c Last edited by tcblcommish; 11-08-2018 at 05:34 PM. |

Midseason update
So this is the only update im going to do from before the all star break but I will do an update regularily
going forward. Here is the starting 9 for the Ottawa Champions as of right now Tim Raines - LF Frankie Frisch - 2b Gregory Polanco - RF Travis Shaw - 1b Aramis Ramirez - 3b David Dahl - CF Yoenis Cespedes - DH Trea Turner - SS Tomas Telis - C Bench Russell Martin - C Jeff Conine - 1b/LF Walt Dropo - 1b Willy Adames - SS/2B/CF Joe Mauer - 1b/RF Position players need some work for sure but have put up some pretty decent numbers. Raines is 2nd in stolen bases and Gregory Polanco right now is my only all star. Raines started very slowly but has come on huge in the last little while to get his season back on track. Starting rotation Vic Raschl LEfty Grove David Price Kyle Freeland Roenis Elias This is a bone of contention for me. I have 4 lefty starters and none are pitching overly well. Only guy who is, is Vic Raschl and he is right handed. Again, loads of roo for improvement here. Relief Clay Buchholz Jeff Reardon Pedro Baez Tommy Hunter Luke Gregeerson Francisco Rodriguez I do like my relief overall but I could use a big set up guy. |

All star break, tied for 1st in the west
So not a bad season going so far. Tied with Denver for 1st place in the PI LAMBDA league, west division. Looking like if thsi plays out all season, we could both be in the playoffs because of the wild card. Hopefully anyways, it would be nice to make the playoffs.
Order and pitching are still the same and only have 944 PP to spend. Here are the generic stats of the players on the team BATTING Walt Dropo .333 0hr, 0rbi. Hasnt played much because I forgot to do subs for when the players get tired. I know, stupid right? Frankie Frisch .284 2hr, 40rbi. Been a solid player for me all season. WAs in the starting packs and has played almost every game ive played Gregory Polanco .282 15hr 55rbi My only all star. Was picked up in a auction bid about 15 games into the season and has been one of my better players for sure. Willy Adames .279 0hr 8rbi Doesnt play a whole lot but does solid when called upon. Tim Ranes Sr .272, 9hr 24rbi 50sb Been my offensive parkplug and a favorite growing up. Love the rock Aramis Ramirez .251 14hr 67rbi My team leader in RBi. Solid hitter, awful in the field. Trea Turner .246 4hr 35rbi 40sb Been a bit of a letdown lately after starting well. Need to pick it up for sure. Travis Shaw .240 19hr 52rbi Lots of power, not enough rbi Tomas Telis .237 1hr 38rbi The best of the 2 bad catchers that I have. Yoenis Cespedes .224 9hr 37rbi I expect way more from Cespedes David Dahl .218 12hr 31 rbi. Picked up about half way between the start and AS break. Thought he would hit better but best of my CF available Russell Martin .193 3hr 19rbi Nothing good to say here at all Jeff Conine .185 1hr 8rbi Was hoping he would be a very solid bat off the bench but not so much Joe Mauer .069 0hr 0rbi At this point, waste of a roster spot PITCHING Lefty Grove 6-8, 5.56 ERA He should be my ace but is not. Not pitching well at all. Kyle Freeland 8-5 3.97 Finally started pitching well about midway. Solid now, rough start David Price 7-6 4.86 Not too bad, hoping for better Clay Buchholz 4-4 6sv 3.00 Not too bad out of the pen, pitches a lot of innings Roenis Elias 2-4 3.94 My only RH starter Vic Raschl 2-1 3.40 Solid pickup after I sold Blake Snell. Not a replacement but solid anyways Pedro Baez 4-1 2.14 Been very strong out of the pen for me. By far my best guy to go to Francisco Rodriguez 3-6 22sv 3.50 Has been ok, blown too any saves though Jeff Reardon 1-2 4.64 Was disappointed when I saw his card but he is servicable Luke Gregerson 0-2 1sv 3.45 Doesn't pitch enough for me, no idea why Tommy Hunter 2-1 4.11 Average pitcher My record is 51-45 tied for first in games but have played 2 more games than Denver. Runs scored - 454 3rd Average - .249 12th On base - .327 8th Home Runs - 90 7th Stolen Bases - 152 2nd Runs Against - 423 9th Starters ERA - 4.53 10th Relief ERA - 3.36 5th DEF EFF - .689 8th Fun season so far. will update soon Last edited by tcblcommish; 11-08-2018 at 06:58 PM. |
