New Namesets
Anyone have any additional namesets? I got one guy's Israeli one. I didn't know if anyone had any other nationalities that we don't originally have

edit the world_default.xml for it to update. The first part is ethnicities. Copy one of them and paste it right afterward, but change the name and the facial frequencies then Find the country in the file and replace lid="##" with lid="41" or "42", etc. |

This an example of the ethnicity code that I added for Israel:
<ETHNICITY id="40" name="Israeli" african="0" asian="0" east_indian="100" caucasian="60" hispanic="0" /> |

You also have to copy all of the names into your "names" and "first names" database folder, making sure they all have the correct number ending corresponding to what you wanted (for instance, I made Israel 40, but you could use any number)
An easy way to replace them is when you open up the downloaded Israeli names with TextEdit of something like that, "Find and Replace" the 39 that is there with 40 or whatever number you want |

In the past, the values for an ethnicity had to equal 1000. I'm not sure if that's still true now that ethnicities have moved to the world_default file. In fact, I'm not even sure why there's still an ethnicities.txt file in the database - what does that do?

Oh that might be true. That might have been an oversight on my part. Thanks Joe |

No. You have to add a new ethnicity to the world file. All I was saying is that the ethnicities.txt file is redundant now afaik, but I think we just never deleted it.

I do have an additional question. If I moved my game forward of which I did ... do the new namesets that came with the game as per the thread I will link be active right away and with the ethnicity will then take place but leave in place the current players in minors and majors ??? When new players created is when it will be "correct" from that point forward ?? I just wanted to be 100% sure if that's how it works so I know with certainty as I play it out
