Create new league bug?

I was fooling around a bit in my game and tried to hit "create new league" within my existing game. I clicked the boxes for MLB and for indy leagues and then next step. Then I clicked cancel.

But the game still created all indy leagues again so I had two Atlantic Leagues, two Frontier Leagues etc.

Also, my MLB season thought it was off season despite being in August.

I just reloaded my backup so it doesn't matter to me, and obviously it's strange behaviour to fool around like that, but still I consider it a slight bug since I did click cancel before the final step.
