New to OOTP, need custom league help.

Hey there,
Big baseball nerd here just now trying out OOTP(switched over from baseball mogul). So what I'm trying to set up is modern league with modern stats (30 teams, players hitting 40+ homers etc.) But in 1900 with players from that era (Crawford, donlin, matthewson etc.) I have fictional league set up now with all current teams and current status settings but am having no luck on how to load up 1900 players. And I understand most players will need to be fictional because of all the additional teams and pitching spots. Any help I'd greatly appreciate. And look forward to joining some online leagues with you guys once I figure out game more. And then obviously hoping for drafts each year after to have real players as well as fictional fillers

Side note... Some of these modes look like gonna be so much damn fun. Promotion league especially!

you can start a historical 1900 league, import..say..1990 settings so you get the HR avg you want, and then add the remaining teams that you want. like you noticed., the issue is the number of avail players in 1900 will NOT e able to fill 30 teams...BUT you can start there and have the future drafts include all players avail going fwd from 1901 with some players being fictional. Set the draft paramateres to maybe 20 rounds with 30 rounds worth of players. make sense?

Awesome thank you. This will be my long term league so gonna hold off on starting for a while until I know more of what I'm doing. This game looks overwhelming at the start. Think I'm gonna play around with promotion league for my first go around to familiar myself with menus.
